Studio Perani, founded in 1993 by Alberto Perani and Camilla Orizio, operates in the fields of corporate law, tax law and international taxation, with a well-established specialization in EU VAT, cross-border transactions and business internationalization.

We assist Italian and foreign companies in their strategic expansion into international markets, supporting them in managing tax compliance, structuring cross-border operations and mitigating
tax risks.

The firm has developed a recognized expertise in international VAT and cross-border transactions, supporting companies involved in complex international operations and global supply chains.

Our team is composed of professionals with complementary expertise and works in close cooperation with notaries and lawyers, providing integrated assistance in complex transactions and business development projects.

Alberto Perani is the founding partner of the firm and a chartered accountant specialized in international taxation and EU VAT.

He regularly advises business institutions and organizations on
international tax matters and is a frequent speaker at conferences and professional training programs focused on international taxation, VAT and cross-border transactions.

Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor

Alberto Perani

Alberto Perani has been a member of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Brescia since 1993 and registered as a Statutory Auditor since 1995. He has more than thirty years of experience in corporate law and international taxation, with a specialization in EU VAT, cross-border transactions and business internationalization.

He is Chair of the Internationalization Commission for Professionals and SMEs of the Italian National Council of Chartered Accountants. He also acts as an advisor to Unioncamere Lombardia, the regional association of Chambers of Commerce, on international taxation matters, and lectures for NIBI – Promos Italia and SAF Lombardia in professional training programs dedicated to international business.

He regularly contributes to Il Sole 24 Ore, Italy’s leading financial newspaper, in the column “L’Esperto risponde”, addressing questions related to international VAT.

Alberto Perani provides strategic tax advisory services to Italian and foreign companies, assisting them in structuring cross-border operations, managing tax compliance and mitigating tax risks.

He is also a Partner at Nexus Avvocati e Commercialisti.
During his professional career he has held several academic and institutional roles, including President of the Fondazione Bresciana per gli Studi Economico-Giuridici, member of the Scientific Committee of SAF Lombardia, and statutory auditor of the Fédération des Experts Comptables Méditerranéens (FCM).
He is the author of guides and publications on VAT and international taxation (Maggioli Editore,Unioncamere Lombardia) and is a regular speaker at national and international conferences dedicated to business internationalization.

Stefania Novali

A graduate of the University of Brescia with honors in Business Economics and Management and Business Consulting and Freelance Professionals, she has been a registered Chartered Accountant and Accounting Expert of Brescia since 2014.

She has worked at Studio Perani since 2011, specializing in tax consulting and corporate law, with a focus on corporate finance, business valuations, and coordinating relationships with international groups, particularly German-registered holding companies.

She attended the Advanced Training Course in Business Economics and Finance at SAF Lombardia and is a member of the “Business Valuations and Extraordinary Corporate Finance” Committee of the Brescia ODCEC. She has served on the “Financial Statement Analysis and Business Valuations” committees and the “Youth Working Group” of the Brescia ODCEC.

She speaks Italian, English, German, and Spanish.

Chiara Cesari

A graduate of the University of Brescia with a degree in Business Economics and Management and a degree in Business Administration – General Management, she has been a registered Chartered Accountant and Accounting Expert of Brescia since 2014.

She has been working at Studio Perani since 2011, specializing in tax consulting and corporate law, with a focus on international taxation, VAT, and customs matters related to foreign trade. She also performs statutory audits for companies and local entities.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Tax and Customs Planning for Foreign Trade and for the Internationalization of Businesses and is a member of the Indirect Tax Commission of the Brescia Association of Chartered Accountants.

She speaks Italian and English.
